My phone service (AT&T) has a feature that you can add to your phone service, called "privacy manager", which supplements the caller ID service. Any incoming call, whether the number is intentionally blocked or not, if the incoming call cannot be shown on caller ID, the call is interuppted and the caller must identify themselves prior to being put through to my number. When the call comes in, and I pick up, an automated message plays and says "You have a call from _______" and I have to accept or reject the call. If you add this feature to your service, it is immediately implemented, and no more "private" calls will be connected to your number. Won't give you the historical information, but, will prevent future calls. Not sure if you can get information on local incoming calls anyhow.

Call the police and file a report. Don't answer any more calls if they come up as private. Make sure your husband has not been cheating on you for the last 5 years.

OK, not exactly sure here, lemme see....you and your husband don't know who is calling?
Or is he saying he doesn't know?
Do you have reason to believe it's an affair?
What about Caller ID? or *69 service?
Have you spoken to the caller?
If you have, is it a female?
Does your husband seem to need to go out after these calls?
Maybe what ya need is a PI to follow him...
Maybe what ya need is counseling...
Maybe ya can just change the number....if he refuses to do that...and if the calls persist...well he isn't looking so innocent then.

If it's bothering you that much, buy Privacy Manager from your phone company. If you have that, when a private caller calls, they get redirected to an answering service. If they tell that service who they are, then your your phone will ring, and you'll get to hear who it is before deciding whether or not to answer. It basically eliminates 99% of private calls.

I think you can actually go to your phone company and request that no body can call you from a private number at any time. Thats what my friends got, when I call them from my house, which is private, it says "the person you are calling does not accept calls from private numbers, we're sorry for your troubles" So, ask your phone company what you can do to prevent private callers from calling you. Good luck!

Perhaps your phone company has an option where you can block anonymous calls. I don't receive anonymous calls anymore or 'private number' and I let all calls that say unknown number go straight to my answering machine. Contact a lawyer to see about getting a court order.

if your husband won't tell you then maybe there lies the problem, HIM!!!!!!!!! Either you ask him and he should tell you or if not then if it's unfixable -Divorce him because you can't have a marriage or a relationship without trust. Call the police station and explain and see what they can do for you. If not the best thing is confrontation and if he doesn't tell you then he's hiding something bad and you probably should seek divorce.

For five years, your husband is having an affair. It's as simple as that. Common, don't be a fool or be fooled.

Suggest to him that he change his phone number, if he say no, then you know i kid you not and that will save you all the trouble of getting a court order and all that bull crap...

If he change his phone number, then it should stop but if THEY start calling him again on the new number, then he gave it to THEY and he knows who the THEY are...

Good luck to you.

What you do is either change you phone number or you can pick up the phone and tell them to stop or you can trace the call and Press charges.
