I want to upgrade my laptop"s memory, currently using its original memory ddr333 256 mb. But the problem is I was not able to find 333, instead I have here ddr400 512 mb. Is it ok to use this two memory at the same time? will it hurt my laptop?

I'd recommend you check the specs of the laptop and the RAM module. The laptop maker's website should tell you what RAM is compatible, and the RAM maker's website should tell you if it can step down to ddr333 speed without changing any settings on the laptop.

Well it depends on the Laptop if it accept two different RAM modules but if it works it´s OK.
The faster one (DDR400) is set to the speed of the slower one (DDR300). It is recommended to use the same brand and type due to compatibility and performance.

Be VERY careful when plugging the modules in the slot...cause if doesn´t fit and you use force you will damage you´re laptop ireparable.

Have fun!

If it the same type of memory, then yes, it will work. But the faster of the two stick will slow down to the speed of the slowest stick.

DDR 400 is backward compatible, plug them both in and they will both run at 333

They definitely will not fry your laptop.......lmao
