I see where alot of men like them for comfort or skin protection but are afraid to go out in public. They are afraid of being labeled gay or just being mocked!! i don't see anything wrong with it. I say to each his own if your comfortable wear it!!

I don't see anything wrong with the idea of a one-piece swimsuit specifically designed for men, like they wore in the 1920's. I would not want to see a man walking around in a women's one-piece swimsuit, though.

I can certainly understand a man preferring to wear a one-piece. I once dived in a bikini, and the bottom almost came off me. I've worn one-pieces, ever since.

Well its really up to you. But its mainly because men don't have anything to cover up on top like women do. I'm sure if women didn't have anything to cover up on top, they would wear speedos or board shorts.

I've never seen one piece swimsuits for men except for in the 30's or 40's. I guess they just started to believe it would be more comfortable to wear less.

It's just because society has become accustomed to one thing, and they don't want to change and be mocked themselves because of their opinion by there peers.

go for it. It's not really flattering to a mans body though. Why don't you just wear a speedo with a swim shirt. Short sleve or regular. Do they even make women's style one peice suits for men?

Also, there are plenty of more full body type suits at speedo.com. I don't think those or regualar speedos are gay at all.

It's just an American thing. In every other country men wear swim briefs almost exclusively. Just wear what you want.

Why can't men wear women's or a women's style one piece swimsuit instead of boardshorts or speedo's?

Put a T shirt on over trunks and you are fine.
One person said that men don't have anything to hide, and thats got to be a man talking since manboobs are nothing to wave in the breeze just because they won't get arrested for showing them.
This is the one area where men do seem to be aware of fashion, or maybe its herd identity, but they aren't going to wear anything too far from the established norm.
Other than this cut, color and style is often lost on them.
Why do men think they look so good when they really don't?

I have photos of my Dad, back in the early part of the 1930's and he was wearing a one-piece - like the regulation school uniform cozzie.
At one time men always wore them.
They were wearing shorts by the early 1950's but I don't know at what point the fashion changed.

I was going to say that it would be uncomfortable but I really wouldn't know, not being a guy. I really don't care what they do but I'm sure they would get ridiculed badly.
