We see several congressmen say that they were wrong to vote for the war in Iraq.
Many look back and see that they were wrong in thinking that the U.S. involvement in Vietnam was wrong and a waste of life. (Nothing was gained except the USA got a kick in the a*s.)
Hitler brainwashed much of Germany and sent men to kill and die, Germany gained nothing but a kick in the a*s.
Is the population of the USA like those of a major, large brainwashed cult who follow their leaders blindly off to war? (correction, they don't "follow" the leader to war, they just get sent while the leaders count thier money made from weapons sales) Who benefits from the war in Iraq except the oil companies and the share holders of the weapons factories? Was Michael Moore correct from the beginning? Are we wittnessing the rise and fall like the Roman Empire? How can making smart bombs make us safe when our enemies immigrate here so easily and learn to drive 18 wheelers and fly planes?
