A long piece of twine... In case of excessive bleeding I can use it as a tourniquet. I know... that's kind of weird. lol

If I need it will be found in the van. Probably the oddest to most would be my rock. We have shown up at campsites with no hammer many times but the rock is always under my seat. I pulled it out of a lake I swam in as a child the last time we were there.

Oh you don't wanna know how many weird and wonderful secrets my handbag holds! The oddest would probably have to be a little bottle of mixed cachous (the little edible silver balls used to decorate cakes) my niece likes to hunt through my bag for lollies and I know if I have them in there she'll always find something.

A leash and a small flashlight. I'm an Animal Control Officer, and i never know when I'll need a leash. I aslo carry a flashlight becasue I coiuld need it to see, or for self defense if a large dog were to get ahold of me. I actually carry both even when I'm not at work

If you need to ask, then it is odd. Try carrying the small packs of individual moist wipes that they give at restaurants when you finish with a seafood entree. You can buy them at warehouse clubs like Sams or Costco. It is a little less creepy.

I carry deodorant, just incase I forget to put it on before I leave, I have it with me^_^
Plus I carry caffine because my energy can dip really bad so I take a teeny tablet which is = to one cup of coffee
I also have a Postcard that my Grandma sent me a couple months ago. all she wrote on it was "Love you, from Grandma" and it has a cute puppy on it because she know's I like pupppies and dogs. I just keep that there because she lives about 50 miles away, so that postcard makes me feel better....

I sometimes put a pair of boxer shorts in my cargo pants when going to a friends for drinks, that way I don't look like I am inviting myself to crash over the night although I often end up sleeping on the couch!

A pair of latex gloves.
Red Cross recommends if for administering first aid.
Also, a roll of TP.
These things are in my truck of course, and not in my pockets or anything.

I have a kit in my car with everything I need to survive for a week if I'm stranded. People think that's odd.
