I was at Harrods this past June with my family. We were in the UK for a vacation. Actually, I wanted to go as I had not been home in 34 yrs. We were thoroughly impressed with Harrods. It was a bit pricey mind you but we loved it anyway. We did purchase some items to take home to Canada. I especially love the tea. If there were a sale shelf, then I would have probably purchased more items.
Unfortunately, I would have had to pay more to load my suitcases onto the plane to come home. There are so many items that I love especially food items that I can't get here in Canada. If that sale shelf had any of those favourites of mine, I would have had to go and purchase another suitcase. lol

Most of its just junk brought in for the sale, not upto normal Harrods quality

They do - at the Harrods sale at their warehouse twice a year!
Some stuff in store is cheaper there than in other shops but its just the hassle of parking in Knightsbridge - have them deliver.

isnt harrods one of those posh shops that only snobs go in, if so then i wouldnt even buy anything from there even if it was a penny
