not now but once we terraform it we will be able to do that.

Pretty big if. Mars atmosphere is more a vacuum than anything else. If you were there and tried to breath you would die very quick. But if Mars had a denser atmosphere, like it once did, you still wouldn´t be able to breath as it didn´t contain any oxygen. You wouldn´t die immediately, like you would now, but after a few breaths you would suffocate. Long ago Mars had a much denser atmosphere with lots of nitrogen and carbondioxide. Mars has since lost most of it´s nitrogen and even the CO2 is mostly gone. There is no hope of making Mars a livable planet unless we can figure out how to make sure Mars can keep a recreated atmosphere.

it has a VERY thin atmosphere, too thin to keep you alive at present...and its usually about minus 40 to minus 80 F so thats a problem too.......
now, if you want to read three EXCELLENT books about how we will create an atmosphere and a living planet and a civilization on Mars, using stuff that is available today (or next week), read, Red Mars, Green Mars and Blue Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson...

No, because there is not enough oxygen in the atmosphere to support human life. Forget what you see in the movies -- it really doesn't work that way.
Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all have atmospheres, but you'd still need oxygen to breathe in order to survive, and none of them have any oxygen, either.

You couldn't breathe for long because the atmospheric pressure on Mars surface is much too low and there is far too little oxygen in it.

The atmosphere doesnt have to just be there so you can breath it. It has to have at least 5-10% oxigen, which is the gas you need to live, and low concentrations of poisonous gasses, as well as being abundant enough for you to breathe.

No. The atmosphere of Mars is as thin as Earth's atmosphere at 100,000 feet. Anyway, it is almost 100% poisonous carbon dioxide.

No because it is mostly carbon dioxide and you would not live there without a helmet or protection from radiation,
WIKI has alot of info about mars atmosphere;

If it has atmosphere,there is no chance of survival unless it has oxygen.But scientist say that there existed water once long ago .So,there may be some oxygen once
