I would I miss her so much since I'm in college and I almost never get to see her. Also Christmas is a very good time to miss and love because that is the spirit in the air.

I pray to see my mother every day. Christmas without her is unthinkable to me. I have a soft spot for those not as lucky as me to have her so close and I admire those who remember that bad or good mom needs to hear from you at Christmas.

Can't wait! But I am fortunate, I see her about 4 times a week. We grocery shop together, we go out to eat one night, and then on the weekends I visit her.

My mother only lives 15 minutes from here. Not a lot of surprise there. We will be happy to have my parents here for Christmas Eve.

I am EXHILARATED that my mother-in-law won't be here. However, there is no word that can described how thrilled my husband is that his mother won't be here lol. She lives 5 hours north of us. He says it's still not far enough.

Before anyone freaks out and thinks this is horrible.. keep in mind that when my son was born (first child), she told me that my sweet little 6-week-old baby was going to burn in hell for all eternity if I didn't have him christened. It has only gotten worse since then.

I wouldn't care, even were she alive. well, she's been dead for four years...so maybe if I could dance on her grave I would visit her. But for no other reason, she was a monster when she was alive, why care for her on a holiday (or any other time) when she is dead?
