You need to ceate a "workgroup network. The laptop and the desktop must have the same workgroup name. Then share your printer on your desktop. OR just buy a "print server". If you need help how to create a networ and share your printer. Just google it.

On the PC, Control Panel > Printers. Find the printer and turn on the "Print sharing". This will allow you to hook to that printer from the wireless laptop and print. The PC will have to be on for the laptop to print.

I went with the workgroup option because i use an AIO (All In One) which prints/faxes/copies/scans so using a print server would not allow its scanning and faxing function i think. So every other terminal prints wirelessly but main computer is wired to AIO and has full functions ^^
