Europe is only starting to get deserts. Spain and Russia have larger barren areas than ever before.
In 1993, President Ilyumzhinov of the Kalmyk Republic (Part of Russian Republic) declared a state of emergency in response to a major deterioration in the state of the environment. The crisis resulted from intensive land degradation and a shortage of water, together with the increasing human load on the natural environment over the last few decades and extreme natural conditions, causing a decline in the health of the population and falls in both life-expectancy and the quality of life. These, in turn, threatened the gene pool of the Kalmyk people - and pointed the way towards ecological ethnocide.

Lets see
North America definately has a desert
South America has one
Africa has one
Austrailia has one
Asia has one
Europe---not sure
Antartica--well if you consider all the ice as a desert then I guess it does as well.
If there is an answer to which of the 7 continents do not have a desert, I would guess Europe although I don't know that for sure.

The classic definition of a desert is an area that gets less that 10 or 12 inches of precipitation a year.
Antartica is the only continent that has 100% coverage of precipitation in excess of that each year.
