We have put up the wallpaper but you can see splotches of glue in random areas on the top of it. How can we remove it?

Use warm to hot water and blot it. White soft cloth is best to use.
Carefully though, you don't want to loosen the glue that is holding the paper up.

If it is the glue from prepasted paper, I use a diluted solution of dish soap in warm water. Rub gently

although i have not tried this myself, i have been reading about rubbing alcohol or surgical spirit. i am using it to clean my laptop. perhaps dilute it to begin with although it should be mild enough to use it neat. i would suggest a test using a scrap piece of the wallpaper.

Go to a paint store (or the paint section at your local hardware store) and buy some "Dif". It'll do the trick!

humorous you may ask, i attempted to restoration my grandbaby's pop-up e book that she tore even with the incontrovertible fact that it disintigrated the cardboard so I had to throw the e book away. finding back, i think of elmer's could have been a extra helpful option to repair it.
