Been good friends with a couple that is going through a divorce and been able to maintain your friendship with both of them?

Mrs. C: I will stay neutral and have tried to. As for stepping out, hard times are when friends need each other the most, stepping out just seems like the wrong thing to do!

Well you will have to be the guenei pig on this one. Like I said if there is a conflict of interest please stick with her. We both don't want you in a bad position in this. We will remain friends so it really shouldn't be an issue of trash talking.

No, never. I've always been partial to one, typically the guy, and tolerated the other. Unless it was the guy's infidelity that caused the breakup, then I was usually partial to the girl.

I'll admit I'm somewhat biased as a man, but it never fails, every divorced female friend I know has put my wife in some bad situations. Even the ones I had a ton of respect for while married. Usually if friends are going through that, we do our best to be there for them, but stay away from the likely problems it will cause for us.

I have been with Friends with a couple but they were not married, then they broke up and I was a friend with both of them for a while but now I'm not in touch with one of them.

Yes I have and I am. Its hard to stay neutral..especially if you became friends with one of them before you did with the other one or are closer to one emotionally.

Does family count ... No not really even in the case of my family.

I guess my brother and is ex wife I get along with both of them .. Well did now I won't speak to either of them so it was useless.

No, I ended up being better friends with one which completely ruined the friendship with the other.

Can't say that I have. Keep yourself neutral in it all and if you can't let them know that you are stepping out if it for a while.

With family yes.
It generally drives family members crazy when you stay friends with their ex's...which in my opinion makes it all worth it.

Yes at first, but then the man lost touch with us because he couldn't bare the fact that we were still friends with his x wife.

Hey, we kissed and swam with dolphins too, if that is you!
:-)
