Nepal has mount everest and K-whatevers. I'm sure you can get heights off of wikipedia.

The problem is that peaks tend to form borders and mountains are big. As you can see, most of the highest mountains are in Nepal or Tibet, but most are listed as both.

Maybe Google Earth, looking along the border with mountains turned on will let you decide where the peak is in each case.
WOW. If you have never used the tilt feature in Google Earth, now is the time to so. In layers, turn on terrain and in Points of interest turn on mountains and Borders and Labels / Borders / International Borders.

If I were going to look that up... I would start by searching for "the world's tallest mountainpeaks". I would then look up and figure out what country the "world's tallest mountain peaks" were in.
