Not even close. But some things I've always wanted to make happen are coming together nicely...like my own personal transformation, having lost over 40 lbs. so far with another 90 or so to go.
In other ways, though, I surpassed where I thought I'd be, having a loving partner of almost twelve years and living in one of the better parts of Virginia.

Yes I am but I went through a couple of other careers first to get to it.
Although I always thought I might end up in law and I've been told I'd have made a great lawyer.

Just like Clinton R said, I thought by now my gay feelings would have been gone (I was still convinced it was just a phase). I figured I'd be married by now to a woman, have at least one kid and be in medical school. I also wanted to live in Colorado.
Now I'm out, have a wonderful partner and work for a non-profit organization in NYC.

In the future I see myself doing the things I love, and working as an architect or urban and regional planning.

No, in high school I never thought I would ever have a title or a badge. The uniform is only for dress occasions.

To quote a great show: I am much older than I ever intended to be!
Really I never pictured myself as retired or living in Portland, Maine. But both are turning out to be quite enjoyable.

Not exactly. I saw myself in high school working in healthcare and I am. But I did not think I was going to work in clinical research.

Good Lord no. I thought the gay feelings would go away, and that I would be married with kids, and an engineer, living in Lafayette or New Orleans. I'm gay, single, and an accountant in Baltimore!
