It was okay to me. They seem to get more rushed and leave more stuff out. Needless to say I wasn't too happy with the movie.

I was totally disappointed. He left so much stuff out. Someone needs to explain to me why the longest book was made into the shortest movie. AND Sirius Black is my FAVORITE character (obviously!) and I hated his fight scene in the ministry. Yeah he fought AMAZINGLY against Lucius. But the fight against Bellatrix? Oh wait... They didn't fight in the movie. I hated that! She just.... killed him. It was awful. And the fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort was NOTHING like it was in the book. It was so intense in the book. It just seemed really toned down. I think they left way too much out. Was Tonks even really in it? She is suppsed to be big in the next two books and we hardly know her! And I wish that when the twins left Hogwarts, they would have said "Give 'em hell for us, Peeves!". But Peeves isn't in the movies, is he? However, to be nice, I think they found the PERFECT Bellatrix and Umbridge. Bellatrix is just how I pictured her. She is menacing and taunting at the same time. She has beauty that has been hidden by years in Azkaban. And Umbridge was amazing. The "hem hem" was good. And she looked like a toad. And I loved the lines
Umbridge: Is there something you would like to say to me dear?
McGonagall: Oh there are several things I would like to say!

Sorry this seems like a rant. But I just love the books and I wish they were portrayed better in the movies! Azkaban is the only one that I think follows the book well!

The books are way too long to put into movie form and leave everything in. I think they did a good job with what they had, but they really took on a big project. I can't imagine how the last two books (the final one in particular) is going to play out, considering how much information is crammed into it.

Longest book = shortest movie. Only reason I can think they are shortening the films is to keep kids interest in the movie instead of making a 3 hour marathon and also the more they add in the more expensive it will be for the studio, and we all know how movie studios like their profits.

I loved all the books and I loved all the movies. The 5th movie was great I loved the ending but I wish Professor McGonagall had been as nasty to Umbridge as she was in the book.

didn't think it was great

too many star wars rip offs

too many attempts at bad sex jokes (" put your wands away " etc..., trust me ther are really painful when you are watching it)
