What is the best boat that can float out there? Vee...or round? Does it float good? How much does it hold? Can it hold heavy things? Thanks for all of your answers! :)

V is for speed with enough power> Ruff water>Smooth ride> Round is displacement like trawlers>Slow and rock a lot>Not a planning hull>Both can carry the weight if the same size>But speed is the thought>

Your question is too vague to answer properly. A vee shape boat is better for cutting through heavy surf. A round bottom boat would be better for calmer surf. The size of the boat determines how many people you can legally sit in a boat. Yes a boat can hold heavy things, but each boat has a rating as to how much. Again, the size and type of the boat will determine the load.

The bigger the boat the more it holds. As mentioned a Vee hull will cut waves and ride smoother. A boat with a more flat front/bow (Tri-hull) will jump waves more than cut, but, the Tri-Hull may be more stable in sharp turns. But, each has advantages. The Vee hull may sit deeper in the water and a Flat may be more shallow. Look at small Fishing boats. Many like a Flat bottom (Flat Bow) it goes well in shallow water and more stable walking around. Someone who goes out in a lake where there more waves may prefer a Vee hull fishing boat that cut the waves. But, walking around the boat may tilt more side to side and not seem as steady.
