I need a gift idea for my wife. She's not big on jewelry, and I'm useless at picking out women's clothes, so what do I do?
I want to spend about 500 dollars, and I'll take suggestions on one big gift or lots of small ones. I'm really hurtin here.
Thanks in advance.

wow, do you know any of her friend or her mom or family very well?
it would be kind of cool to incorporate them into the gift giving. they probably know her pretty well too.
it would be cool to include them and do a scavenger hunt and use them to either hide the gifts and/or as the holder of other clues. It does not have to be about price but if it is make it fun and memorable too.

get her things that mean something, tickets to her favorite singer or groups show, or sporting event. one day getaway to a spa in a pretty place in the city. memorabilia, something from your first dates/earlier years. Sorry, i dont know her so im not sure.

For me, I'm not the jewelry type either but the year my husband took me to a nice hotel with hot tub and later at dinner gave me an eternity ring it was the greatest. It was like being courted all over again.
Of course you can always ask her friends for advice but most women would tell you as I did what made them happy...You know her the best so go with your instincts.
A small gift and a visa gift card may do the trick! Good luck

If she likes gadgets get her an ipod or a GPS for her car. You can get the ipod engraved. Don't get "sexy" underwear - that's really just for the guy anyway! Most girls are more comfortable in Granny knickers ;)

You can go wrong with perfume if your wife doesn't like it, it's too personal to pick for someone else. What about a beautiful pen engraved with her name, or "Love always". A spa voucher is great but only if she's into that sort of thing.

Pretty cushions for the bed might work, or a kimono she can wear around the house. Good luck, you're a good husband :)

Wishing it were me!!! The gift giving comes with the person. If she is fashionable, humble,Conservative, and a person who lives, laughs and likes attention and nice things, Get her own Christmas tree and several me gifts like perfumes, lotions, pampering gifts, nicely wrapped(designer brand) Then add some very nice undergarments (keep it sexy and practical ) Then check her closest and buy her something you would like to see HER IN.(tasteful) then to top it off make reservations ( a a well, known restaurant, with valet parking )put it in a card invited her out wrap in small box and when she opens it. Say "Merry Christmas, I am glad we are gifts to each other.... If this doesn't do it... A nice expensive DESIGNER Bag is always good.

How about something for the house? A salt water aquarium? Boss speakers? Something really decorative that would make the place jazz up? Most women love it when their HOMES feel comfy. Do you remember anything she's said recently she's always wanted? For example, one time I was going out with someone, I mentioned I had been wanting to get fish for awhile, then he showed up at my doorstep the next night with 4 fish! I loved it.

Since you`re bad at picking clothes for her, take her out for a great dinner, and give her a gift card to her favorite store.

My Husband gave me a full day at the spa. Loved it! Another gift I received that I really liked was a weekend away at a nice hotel. This would be something you both could enjoy.

Merry,Merry!

Aren't you the generous one! =)

How about a trip to a day spa...the full package, facial, massage, pedicure etc.

A nice gift certificate to her favorite store could let her pick out her own clothes.

A weekend away/noght in ahotel with a meal. Could pay for her to get her hair done or a spar treatment. A day out for her and a friend. A new phone?

If you have a day spa in your area get her a gift certificate, women love to be pampered, and who couldn't use it after the holidays
