I had a medical abortion 26 days ago, and I haven't gotten a period yet. My breasts are pretty sore though. please don't give me all the 'righteous' stuff, what's done is done, I just want to know why I haven't gotten a period and why my chest hurts. thanks.

Next period is coming and your hormones aren't settle yet, dont worry! relax, its btter to period come, meanwhile take precautions and dont get pregnant soon again, please!

I dont really know much about abortions exactly, but maybe it is just that your hormones are crazy at the moment. It takes a while for your body to get back to normal after a pregnancy.
