what place of interest is must to see in Rotterdam!

i will be in Rotterdam in a few mounths, for 5 days, any tips to have good time there, it will be welcome and usefull.

all around the seaports are wonderful stores, restaurants, etc.

Rotterdam has the best skyline that the Netherlands offer. So my advice: tour through the center. Not just by foot, but take the Tram. Enjoy the buildings, and then stop by the large shopping center.

Also a must: the Modern Art museum there, and if you want to see the highest point: they made a touristic attraction just for this.

I live nearby Rotterdam. When you are in the center, look for the tourist offer: they have free maps with all these details. Just follow your interests.....

Shopping, you can do a tour by boat in the harbour.
If you want to go to an older town, Rotterdam is rather modern build for the Netherlands, Delft is close, Dordrecht can be reached by a boat tour, but most towns in the Netherlands can easily be reached by train, Amsterdam is about an hour travel.
