Of these - if you look at a map - 3 are geographically linked to each other: The Rhine Basin, The Ruhr Valley (the river Ruhr is a tributary of the river Rhine) and the Swiss Alps (where the river Rhine starts). So that whole interlinked area CAN be regarded as a kind of European industrial heart though there are certain other areas that can be considered but you are probably right. This is the foremost.

I would go with the Ruhr here.
The Swiss Alps are not very industrialized (they're mountains after all, and rather tall!), the Oder more so but not as much as the Ruhr area.
The Rhine basin is a possibility as well because the areas bordering the Rhine are famously industrialized from Switzerland (except in the Alps!) to the Netherlands, but it's a rather vague term compared to the Ruhr valley, which is famous for being heavy on the industry side, which is why it was an important target during World Wars.
So, yeah, Ruhr.
