human hand sizes?

I do design technology and I cant seem to find the measurements for the average human hand. I need to know as I need to make a handle that is comfotable for people to hold.

I would make it comfortable for the extremes to appeal to a wider market.

probably use the dimensions from people considered to be the average man/ woman size
