You should be thankful for your life .... your time here on Earth ....
the God given fact ... that you were given birth ....
there is no time to feel sorry for yourself ....
certainly no time to feel sad ....
be thankful to God for the life that you've had ....
you could always have less .... or more troubles no doubt ....
instead you are you .... and for this you should shout ....
My name it is Jerry .... I am a 54 year old man ....
4 times I've been homeless .... there was simply no plan ....
I lost 1/2 of my leg & 1/2 of my foot ..... I received frostbite on the street .... it was a hard price to pay ....
this is why I have completely changed my whole life today ....
I now write poems .... with you people I share .....
I attend a recovery group ..... I help others, I care ....
I could go through life bitter .... evil or mean ....
but through the poems I write .... I help others fulfill dreams ....

I met the love of my life a few months back....every moment I'm with her, and every time I think of her, I am deeply and truly thankful. The woman is an angel, and I feel truly blessed to have her in my life.

Oh....Jerry thank you for this honest sharing of yours..you give me more strength and teach me more to appreciate God for all his overwhelming blessings that he has continuously giving me..I have been tested in my life too, so many times, I had had tribulations but not me being directly affected but my loved ones, and I didnt stop hoping for the best....I always have faith in God that he will not forsake me instead He proved alright...........now I ahve become a better person, more grateful and appreciative to all things that come my way..and I always count my blessings.......your words are so inspiring..........I will surely treasure them..........Take care, God loves you!!!

I wake up every morning thankful for another chance to do what is right, to be given a second chance at a new day, a new life, I know what i have, i don't dwell on what i don't have, I have all I need, I don't need pssessions, things.love, family, friends, are much more valuble to me .

specific! The few ( i will count huge sort them on ONE hand!! ) human beings i will call authentic buddies (the style that isn't shout at you in case you ring them in the midst of the night in a disaster!) are one in a million, very unique. I have faith them with none doubts to consistently be there to help and help me, i'm SO fortunate and blessed to have them in my lifestyles, i do no longer possibly deserve them!! additionally my mum is an entire one in a million, she has contiued to be there helping me thro all the crap in my lifestyles. I owe her alot. i'm very grateful to her and that i like her very plenty. additionally my 12 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous daughter, she nonetheless loves me in spite of everything the **** I placed her thro with my drug use and so on.

I'm thankful for the fact that me and my daughter are alive as we both nearly lost our lives when i gave birth to her.

my little sister passed away in september of a genetic disease that was the cause of her death. i've learned to just appreciate everything i have, because i never know when it will all be gone. thanks for sharing jerry :)
