a letter from the phrases, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY.
In other words, the first sentence will begin with the letter "M." The second sentence, with the letter"E", etc. The last sentence will begin with the letter, "Y." The story will have 23 sentences.
I think you get the picture.
I just created this idea and I think it will be lots of fun!!

M-Mary Noella was born on a Christmas morn in the land of the Christmas elves.
E-Everyone "Oohed and Aahed" at the infant's fairness.
R-Royal blue eyes twinkled beneath a halo of golden curls
R-Round rosy cheeks hinted at the cutest of a dimple in each.
Y-Yes, and a Cupid's Bow mouth turned up at the corner in a natural smile.
C-Charming everyone gathered about her crib was a talent she possessed.
H-Her natural cheerfulness was a wonder to behold.
R-Rallying around to admire this small miracle, the townspeople made merry.
I-"Isn't she a darling?," was heard whispered about.
S-"She's perfect," was the whispered reply.
T-"Tis truly the season to be jolly!"
M-Matthew Noel had been born the day before on Christmas eve.
A-All were equally awed by his hair as black as a raven's wing at midnight.
S-Sure, they were too, that this Young man would go far.
E-Eyes, he had of such a deep and warm golden brown.
V-Vast was the land around but news of the two births spread fast.
E-Everyone knew that these two babes were destined for greatness as soon as Santa acknowledged the births.
R-Real happiness was rampant about the land.
Y-Young and old alike celebrated.
B-Bringing these two babes together was a goal all looked forward to.
O-Only time would tell if these plans would be.
D-Destiny had a part in this plan to play.
Y-Yule time greetings rang throughout the land.

My son received an assignment from his teacher around the age of 11-12 I think. The assignment was to write a story starting the first sentence with the letter A, the second with the letter B all the way thru to Z. I thought "are you kidding?"
His story, to my amazement, made perfect sense. But my son is artistic and has an imagination. Although I (and everybody) is good at something, this is not my area. I would be interested in reading the stories that come thru. Some minds are just amazing that way. Great idea!!

May you live a long time
Everyone run to the top of the hill
Riding in the back of a truck stinks
Rowing a boat is hard work
Your pizza is ready miss.
Christ is my savior
How many times do I have to remind you
Rubbing grease on your hair makes it stick up more
Is that your last piece of pie
Stop at the next light
Tis the season to be jolly
Mary did you know
Stand up for yourself
Enough whip cream on your pie
Very funny Mr. James now get back to work
Earth is spinning out of control
Rapid release gel tablets are gross
Youth is a fun but scary time of life
Bob is a very good singer
Oh Holy night
Down through the ages
You got to give me best answer for this
thanks

"Mercy" cried Mrs. Clause.
Everything is falling apart this year.
Reindeer here.
Reindeer there.
"Yikes, I'd better get them rounded up before Santa wakes up.”
“Come back here Rudolph!!!”
“Holy holly berries, how am I ever going to get them all rounded up,” she wondered.
Racing back into the house, she collected all the sugar cubes she could find.
“I hope this will help,” she said.
“Sugar is their big weakness, so this should do the trick.”
“The children will be so disappointed, if Santa can’t make the trip this year.”
“My, my, what got into them.
“All the elves’ hard work will be for naught if the toys can’t be delivered.”
Shouting the reindeer’s names, she piled the sugar cubes around her.
Eventually, the reindeer started coming back.
Very soon after she put the sugar out they had all returned.
Each reindeer got a stern look from Mrs. Clause as they arrived.
Racing against time, she arranged them in order..
“You guys scared me to death running off like that,” she chided them as she worked.
But she was not too hard on them, as she understood their playful nature and the need to run about occasionally.
Once she had them all in order, she harnessed them to the sleigh.
"Don't going running off with the sleigh now," she laughed while giving each one a sugar cube.
"You all gave me a real fright, but I know you will do a good job tonight," she told them as she headed into the house to awaken Santa.
