Use acetone only if you want to soak them off. Otherwise if you continue to use acetone to remove polish you can experience premature lifting. Use only acetone free polish remover to remove polish from your acrylics. Technically you should only remove polish when it is time to fill in your nails because acetone free remover can also cause lifting if used excessively.

Definitely need non-acetone for acrylic nails. If you use acetone then your nails will get soft and the color that you have on them will just smear and go into the nail.
