i need to know how many countries speaking English much in Europe.

English is widely spoken across the whole of Europe, but the countries where it's used the most are Scandinavia and Germany, not counting countries like Ireland where it's obvious. My personal experience was not that the Dutch have a high percentage of people using English, but when it comes to the Danish - I think it's almost their second language, it's so widespread.

Ireland too. And I guess scandinavians speak excellent english. Germans are alright at english. you'll find that a lot of people in France speak relatively good english (plus me who's fluent ^^ lol)

Most people in Norway and Belgium seem to speak english.

Ireland, Malta and Gibraltar have English as their native tongue. Scandinavians and the Dutch are probably those who have the best knowledge of English as a second language.
