Someone told me I remind him of the girl from the movie Hard Candy. She is a young teenager who meets a pedophile over the internet and plays innocent with him until he's got her alone. She then turns the tables and becomes his torturer...giving him a taste of his own crimes, you could say.
I saw the movie. It was excellent. Though I don't think I could ever bring myself to do the things she does.

Well if someone tells you that you remind him/her of a girl who plays a role of an evil person then that can hardly be called a compliment! Unless, of course you like to be an evil person!!!

If it was, it was an odd one. It would depend on the circumstances in which he used it. I would think, being positive, the complimentary person was trying to say you are a strong individual even though you look innocent. Hope this helps!!!

If they mean you look like the girl and she is pretty - that's a great compliment! If they are going by the personality, then I would kick them in the butt. Possibly it could have meant that you are strong willed and don't take poo poo from anyone either - I would consider that a compliment!

I'm not sure whether that is a compliment or not i guess it depends on whether he meant your personality or your physical appearance. I guess it is up to you to decide that one.
Maybe something about her character reminded him a bit of you. Ask him what context he used it in then maybe you would find out.
