disgusting. he will murder in this country too. unfortunately, criminal scum are the most highly motivated to get into this country and they are very devious and the people that work in our immigration service are overworked. result, 2 years from now everyone will be asking why was he allowed into our country to kill an innocent british person.

I'm sorry, but if the conditions you state are true then there is some reason why it is being done. When asylum is granted in the regular fashion, support is not given. The person is simply allowed to remain in the country. If your government is supporting the person, there is some reason why. Perhaps there is knowledge of an enemy that the person is supplying. You'll never know. And depending on what country they come from, you may not be able to be sure they actually are a murderer.

If this person has commited murder in his own country it is up to the country in question to apply your government for his/her extradition. The problem with assylum nowadays it is used as a catch all including poverty.I have read some comments on this question saying that the government dont give housing or money to these assylum seekers but if they are not giving them houses and money to live where are they getting the money to pay their way ie food and housing because if they had enough time to collect enough money to live here before they fled their oun country then they are not true assylum seekers. If your life is in danger you dont stop to pick up spare underwear you go with what you stand in so again where are they getting the money from.Or could it be that this country is just a soft touch something our government or the human rights lawyers dosnt seem to have realised yet

This is being practised "in the name protecting a citizen from illegitimate / uncivilised norms being applied by third world countries".This is a bad practice. The law of the particular country will take its own action as per its own norms.
Fact is, this is done for 'some favoured ones having great influence politically in a country where the asylum is given'.

You allege this person has done murder in another country.
As you state, gives them asylum.
It it logical to assume you are a Brit,if that assumption is correct then, you are remiss in not notifying the authorities with your .
As a citizen of this country, you have a duty to inform the police,

This is too vague. Are you just making it up?
Perhaps they were a freedom fighter in a third world country run by a despot! And I don't know of anybody who's been given money to buy a house! This is just a myth spread by BNP supporters! The most a council will do is rent a property to you.

If the country where the murder was committed doesn,t know that the murderer is in England how is it going to ask for his extradition?Unless someone can bring him to trial in England
and that person can provide prima faciae proof that the man is likely to have committed murder so the person's country can be notified to produce proof for the murder by the accused person...

Would you have objected to Nelson Mandela getting asylum in this country during apartheid, after all he was considered a terrorist by the South African government.

The human rights act only protects the criminals and the human rights of the many are ignored.
I thought under the UN law people should claim assylum in the 1st safe country - if this is the case why do we allow people to claim it in the UK?

I doubt that this is the actual fact. can you prove that the person or persons have actually committed a murder and can the other country prove to a british court they have in fact done so. if this was the case your question is not valid everybody is innocent till proven guilty
