I love it when folk say Hun or Babe. I also like doll or hinnie or pet lamb or bonny lass.

Breeze or Bubbles is what most all my friends call me, but for a term of endearment, I think I would like it if that special someone would get to know me, my personality, and come up with a pet name reserved for only me. Babe, sweetheart, honey, darling, are all fairly common and are all too often applied to many. I am guilty of using terms like sweetie, hun, or luv myself. Not in a offensive manner, but with most anyone I encounter.

Great... now all guys are going to think babe works for all girls...
Personaly, Babe is my pet hate... hun is ok, but basicly, ANYTHING but babe... I don't even want to talk to someone who calls me that, I hate it so much....
I do like darling, sweetie.... anything original, I like a pet name that has derived from an experiance that you have had with someone.... instead of just something random...
I particualy dont like it when someone you have just met starts calling you something like babe, its just gross and sleazy and It makes the guy in question sound like the biggest tool....
Just my personal opinion though... ;)

Never really liked 'babe' and even less so since I dated a girl who said it all the time, even when I barely knew her.
'Hun' is okay, 'love' occasionally, but none of them sound good coming from total strangers.

My man calls me 'Poppet'. My dad used to call me that years ago. I think it's sweet!
I don't like 'Babe': the only time I've been called that the guy said I reminded him of the pig!!!

My mum calls me Honeypie and my pet name for my little boy is Stinky Tink!!!
My old boss used to call everyone Flower or Petal, he was a lovely old Asian bloke that you wouldn't really expect it from!
