Neither should be held in disdain.

All of the people who have testified against Bonds would fail a polygraph test if they tried to answer 'NO' to the question, 'Do you think Barry Bonds is the biggest jerk you have ever met.' People who know Bonds, hate him, and should not be trusted to always tell the truth about him.

Jose Canseco was just interviewed and said that he never knew of Clemens using steroids, and thought it was very likely that his trainer might lie if he was trying to keep from getting TWENTY FIVE YEARS IN PRISON if he didn't tell the former senator what he felt he wanted to hear.

I think what is really tainted is the whole investigation of the players for something that the League was obviously aware of for many years and therefore should be viewed as consenting to the use of the juice.

It could very likely turn out that some fans will group Clemens, and all others found to be using drugs, in the same category as Bonds. This is not a color bias issue, it is an issue of trying to cheat to gain an advantage and this kind of event knows no color line.

I have never hated Barry Bonds, cause I think if you put 30 baseball players in front of a grand jury, most of them will lie about their steriod use.

I am happy this report came out, because if people hate Barry Bonds for using steriods, Clemens should be seen the same way. I'm happy for Bonds.

I feel the same about "the great" Roger Clemens as I do about Balco Barry. I said a couple years ago that Roger was on something. He was just too vocal about his "good" work habits.
Hope the fans and press treat the arrogant SOB with as much disdain as Bonds, Palmero and the others.

I would hope not . This is not a color issue,it's about cheating, lying and stealing , yes stealing . Baseball is a sport that is proud of it's record holders and when someone cheats to get a record, that is stealing from the one who earned it honestly.
I feel nothing but disgust for all the cheaters, they've given the game a huge black eye.

That whole era of baseball should be looked at with skepticism, as it is unlikely that only 85 or so players in a 2 decade span used steroids.

Yes. If you are a cheat, then you should be treated as such. Did you see how many Yankee's are on the list?
