Yes. The activation cost is $25, I think. It might only be $20, but I'm pretty sure its 25.

Absolutely. You might want to do this if your newer, better phone were broken, for example. It's free if you already have Verizon service. Just call Verizon's customer service and ask them to activate the phone for you. You will need to give them some numbers that are particular to the phone. These will likely be under the battery.

I have t-mobile, but if you have the phone and sim card, you can really put the card into any phone you have
but if your phone is totally shut off, I'm assuming there's a fee

It's possible only if the phone is E911 capable, due to FCC regulation.

Hello : )Well when I lost my phone, I use one of my friends old ones and had them reactivated the old one for me too use for no charge. So hopefully you can do the same
