I don't know where you live but I have ONLY heard on this site and on Fox from OReilly about people being offended by Merry Christmas.

Back in the fiftries my mom raised me to be something that we called "polite" It means that I don't send Christmas cards to Jewish people, i send holiday cards; I don't say merry christmas to people who I know are muslim or buddhist; and I don't use ethnically charged names. I don't say merry christmas at work because that is work, it has nothing to do with my religion, personal life, or whatever.

SOO why do you people want me to be rude?? Back in the conservative glory days, the leave-it-to-beaver days, we weren't PC, we were just polite.

It probably wasn't PC! Or in tune with the community guidelines. Perhaps you didn't put it in the form of a question.

However, I can wish you and yours the best of the holiday season, and say,

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

.

It's not offensive, but it's not a question. If it's not a question it will get removed - sorry.
