On my old comp. I would clean the system of cookies. With a Mac I don't know how to do that or can I?

I lost my old comp due to viruses I am just trying to keep this comp as clean and virus free and up to date as I possibly can. But I am comp illiterate.

In Mac., you are using Safari as browser.

Go to manual bar and click
Edit -> Preference -> security -> show cookie -> Remove all
