Sometimes I am inordinately proud of it and then I go to work in the morning as the sun is climbing out of the sea and a growing forest of skyscrapers rises in front of me where once there was a distinct Arabian identity and I think" I don't know this place any more!"

I love the kindness and the hospitality of the people. I love having multi-cultural,multi- religion friends. I especially love the endless sunshine and the hole in the wall food sellers on every street. But.... I hate the driving, the traffic jams, the endless sunshine(yehr I know I just said I love it, but we crave rain!)And I especially hate hearing English butchered at every turn!
Where do I live?

The Kingdom of Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf.

I LOVE Scotland because it has the sense of home that most people feel about the areas they have grown up in.

The personal reasons and opinions I have about Scotland are bias and completely emotional but who cares, right?
It's beautiful & rugged.
The people are mostly down to earth and friendly.
It's cold so you can wrap up warm and go for a walk.
Cups of tea taste a thousand times better here because you need to to survive! :o)
The water is purer.
We have a proud and interesting history.
Within an hour I can go from beach to mountains to countryside and back again.
And when you travel abroad people always love the Scottish.

:o)

NEW ZEALAND
cause its pretty small population, and a big enough area of land so tht there are still lots of grass and nature tht hasnt been destroyed for civilisation.

it has some of the best scenery around and best of all.. it doesnt even take half day to get to the coast... no matter where you live

India - I love it 'coz it's home and although it's no way perfect, it's like a see-saw, I love most of what I know about my country.

USA -- Yes, I love my country, because no matter what you like (deserts, oceans, mountains, plains, forestland, etc.), it's here! My only concern is how long will it be before the gov't. sells it all off?
