I guess. But most of us are hardwired to be monogamous.
One big trouble is when non monogamous swingers and cheaters decided they need to have a relationship with a monogamous person. The end is heartbreak for the monogamous person, the swinger just moves on and bangs other people.
Another sucky thing is it is so freaking hard to find that one person to be monogamous with, books and Hollywood make it look so easy and for most people it is the toughest thing in life to accomplish.
I can go buy a house this morning. I may never in my lifetime find the right person to be monogamous with.

I don't think it "sucks". After all, if two people are monogamous, and are perfectly happy being monogamous and don't want any additional partners, then it doesn't suck at all for them.
But, I do think it sucks that monogamy is basically forced onto us by society. People should be able to do what is best for themselves...if a person is suited to polyamory, let them behave that way without criticizing them.

Disagree. There are pros definitely pros to being single but the pros of being in a committed relationship far outweigh the cons. I can't say the same for single life.
In terms of plural relationships, they're never equal. You may "love" different people for different reasons but there is always going to be one that you love just a little bit more than the others. There's always going to be one with whom you are more comfortable and one who really rules your heart and mind. You can't have multiple relationships that are on exactly equal ground.

If you are a savage in an uncivilized world it would not be what you are looking for.
If you live in a civilized world with good morals and strong family values then monogamy will be the greatest thing. Faith in the family will have the family and culture that supports it advance to greatness.
If your neighbor can't be trusted by his family then how can he be trusted any other way.

Disagree strongly. If I can't have the closeness and the knowledge that I'm his only and he's my only, what's the point? But, it's really up to the girl and guy in the relationship.
