It is nothing! I was! It was a huge statue of a man, standing at the gate of Rhodes' ancient port. It is considered as one of the 7 miracles of the ancient world. Some ppl say that the statue of Liberty in NY, was ispired bu this one. Unfortunately now, there is nothing left of it...
here is an adress for a picture of how it could have been:

The Colossus of Rhodes was a huge statue of the Greek god Helios, erected on the Greek island of Rhodes by Chares of Lindos between 292 and 280 BC. It was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Before its destruction, the Colossus of Rhodes stood over 30 meters (100 ft) high, making it the tallest statue of the ancient world.

It was a giant copper statue that stood near the port of Rhodes. It was payed for by selling siege equipment from a failed enemy siege. It stood for about 7 years until an earth quake knocked it over. An oricle forbade it to be rebuilt saying it was a bad omen.

It was a giant statue at the harbour in Rhodes, and no longer exists, but it was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world apparently.

It was a giant statue. Each foot was on either side of the harbor, so in order to exit the harbor, you would sail between the legs. The legs, more or less, acted as an archway.
