I have just reformmated my computer But it won't let me have 64k colour im running on 32k Its windows xp pro Ive got new motherboard so i tried loading the disc but it comes up windows64 orxp64 isnt installed on your computer I dont know im not a computer buff so if someone can help me that would be great thankyou

it was running on 64k and higher before and my comps running slow and have new thingy that holds more memory so i know its not that

to tell the truth i installed them i do remember something about partians were they supposed to be on seperate ones i used the colour from the motherboard disc ill probably just refornatt it again i think i made a badly judged error

Hi,
looks like the drivers that came with your MB are incorrect, so you done a clean install (reformatted first) then installed windows (but onto the same partition), then loaded the drivers that came with the MB, are you using the graphics's that are on the MB or a card ???
please add some more info please

Find the model/manufacturer of the computer. Go the manufacturers website, look up your model number, then download and run the drivers you need - specifically the graphics (video) driver. Make sure you download/run the driver designed for Windows XP.

You've already formatted once, now it's just a matter of installing the drivers.

Well ckeck whether ur motherboard CD is compatible with the software that ur installing ie 64 bit or 32 bit.Then Try reformatting and reinstalling the OS. It must work.

Either I don't know what you are talking about, or you shouldn't work on your computer because there are no thingys in a computer. Are you sure you have the right graphics card drivers?

Make sure your drivers (software for the hardware) are updated and that Windows is up to date.
