Well lets see...
This question is in the Zoology section, so I assume you mean "bite" as in an animal sinking its gnashers into you/someone/something's soft and juicy parts.
In that case a Kilobite would be a thousand bites - probably from mosquitoes!
1000 Kilobites = 1 Megabite
1000 Megabites = 1 Gigabite - then you die because so many mosquito bites would drain all your blood.
If this whole explanation is not what you want because you are referring to units of data in computers, its your fault because you did not post it in the correct category and you also spelled bytes wrong.
Because computers count in binary, rather than in decimal numbers, a kilobyte is not 1000 bytes, it is actually 2 raised to the power 10 which is 1024. Each step up, kilo-, mega-, gigabyte multiplies the previous step by 1024.

bit - basic unit
byte - 8 bits
kilobyte - 1000 x 8 = 8000 bits
Megabyte - 1000 000 x 8 = 8,000,000 bits
Giga = 1000,000,000
Tera = 1000,000,000,000
and so on for each step up you add an extra 3 zeroes.
So 1000 kb = 1 Mb
1000Mb = 1 GB etc

1000 for each 1028 to be exact
1000 bytes = 1 kilobyte 1000kb = 1 megabyte 1000 mb = 1gigabyte 1000 gb = 1 terabyte there are still 2 sizes higher than terabyte but only modern day supercomputers use them we just got access to 1tb drives 2 years ago

While using computer:
If you type a letter "a" you are using 1 bite (or byte).
This is to say any key stroke (including space bar, empty space). An E-mail shows what is used, example 1.5 K.
K stands for kilo or 1000.
M stands Mega. Or ------.
G stands for Giga. Or ------.
You have few good answers, but a good dictionary (college type) will help you a lot in understanding various terms.

think of it as the metric system. k = kilo = 1000 so there is your answer for all. 1k = 1000 bytes
mega is 1000k
giga is 1 mil k
tera 100 giga
peda wow!
