Wow, Baluga-TY apparently doesn't read any science/health journals often. There are tons of medical studies related to that exact fact. Chocolate is a drug and people can/have become addicted to it. It does release serotonin in the brain. Also, Dr. Atkins has a portion of his book that talks about different diet genetic classes of people who are more prone to crave chocolate and other sweets. I love chocolate too but, be careful eat too much and you could be diabetic in no time.

You can become psychologically dependent on anything. But chocolate substituting for sex is still chemical, in the sense that it boosts certain neurotransmitters in the brain that are also boosted during sex. The psychological part comes in, I guess, when our brain wants to have more of that neurotransmitter, and it's expressed as a chocolate craving in our mind.

Nope not at all although it is all in the mind when one says that if you eat more chocolate you will desire more for sex or this stuff...........see when it gives you a nice taste and feeling , its allbecause you registered in your mind what benefits or excitment or thrills it gives...so the only way is not to eat chocolates so you wouldnt think they are rooted out psychologically.....ok???

Umm... that's a toughy. I love choclate, but i don't think i have a psychological need for it. Choclate is not a stimulant. I think people like choclate for it's meanig. People eat choclate for a whole bunch of reasons, but i think people eat choclate for two reasons.
1.) It Tastes Grrrreat!
2.) On special occasions or bad ones, Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween. Break up

I have heard so, but do not let theories destroy the pleasure of your taste. Enjoy chocolate physically, psychologically too.
A nice piece of chocolate after sex, it all the fun!! ;)

Umm, I wouldn't say so. Only because I am not a big fan of chocolate, so I don't substitute it in that way. But, for some people, I can see how it would work that way, hehe :)

Not good enough for me. I'd rather substitute chocolate for love and sex.
