Should I start reporting republicans like a madwoman for every dem critical question like they do me?

Not in large numbers. In the end, it's useless. The little rabid trolls will resurface eventually. Let them bask in their own stupidity. Misery only loves more company. The more attention you give them, the more "emboldened" they become. I would personally flag someone as a last resort if they display abusive behavior (stalking or racist remarks).

You seem, from the questions ive seen at least, to be within the realm of reasonable to me so I dont know why you have such a problem.
I may not agree with you, but its only the raving loons that I am tempted to report. Even then I dont. The only people I have reported have been ones that everyone else would report also for something like putting up links to porn or something.
And even then I usually dont because I figure someone else has already done it.

I am sure you probably realize that there are just as many nutso dems as republicans and it happens to us all.

I have disagreed with you several times myself, but have never reported you, and don't report anyone unless they are really flagrantly in violation of the rules. If that's how people want to silence those that disagree with them, their minds are obviously to small to handle debate. I have gotten bounced a few times for sharply critical comments aimed both directions. My comments weren't over the line, but I got reported twice, so off they came.
Keep 'em coming, and I will too. Let the small minds who can't formulate an intelligent comment hit the "report it" button all they want. It may be irritating, but I refuse to be like them.

The sort of people that do that are generally just embarrassing themselves and doing thier cause harm anyway. Why would you want an answer that truly demonstrates ignorance removed?

Whatever makes you sleep well at night. If they violate TOS, knock yourself out. Perhaps you should worry more about following the rules than about reporting people. I break the rules, I get a TOS violation. But I rarely break the rules, so I normally don't.
