More or less agree with denise, in that it is correct(ish). But! --- . U is rather formal, usually used when addressing for instance, a respected or elderly relative, a teacher, an unknown person, etc. etc. and would not really go with the rest of the sentence, which is something usually said on a personal basis.
Ik hou van jou. -------- I love you.
Je bent mooi. -------- You are beautiful (nice).
Je hebt mooi haar -- You have beautiful (nice ) hair.
Liefde ------------------- Love
