The Bobcats are rockin' tonight at the Double E! We're expecting snow, so it could turn into a real party. Why don't ya'll come on over! I'll be the one with the red telecaster, a loaner since my blonde reissue is in the shop. Bob'll be wailin' the lead vocals, Deebert keepin' the beat and the big cajun Stormy Smith thumpin' the bass and 12 string. miss ellie is our head groupie, so girls check with her for the free drinks! Bobby, might as well sit in on sax! Saturday and Sunday will be for recovery and coffe and cookies by the fire. Be there or be square! peace

I'm in the mood for a couple of laid back days after the week I have had.....I need to try and write some Christmas cards and maybe continue with Christmas shopping....but I don't really want to go out tomorrow because the shops are bound to be full of people. I might try to do some Christmas shopping on line.....if I go out, it will probably just be to buy stamps for my cards.

The only thing "BIG" for this weekend is another SNOW storm hits the Midwest. We expect to get 6 inches. I'm looking forward to being snowed-in. I have rice and crackers in case I run out of bread, Beanie Weanie for protein, Fruit in jars, and cans of Veggies. Even got some Chili on hand. I hid cookies for just this time of year, so I'll be having tea, coffee, and cookies as I look out at the snow and snow drifts. Woo hoo! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

Nothing "BIG"... but this evening I'm heading into the big city to get together with my brother and my cousin... the three of us are going to head out to a brew pub and shovel horse manure, tell jokes and generally act like three jolly swagmen... or jackasses, depending on your point of view... we have a blast together. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, GEM!

I am taking my little girl to a "scavenger hunt" birthday party (yay! She already has a little friend here!) on Saturday, I am going to finish unpacking and I am going to finish my Christmas shopping. Wish me luck! I also plan at some point to collapse from sheer exhaustion Sunday evening.

Today will be my busiest day! Work, the Wake for my friends Dad, my daughter's first school dance & then perhaps a little Y/A!!! Wow! It doesn't sound as busy on here as it does in my head!!

I have to do my Christmas shopping. Tomorrow is the only day that I really have left to shop. I hope I can find everything.

B. You never know what the weather is going to be so I usually have one plan that involves outside and one for the inside.
