Why did Hillary claim to be from a 'working class family' in her Iowa speech yesterday?

According to Wikipedia, Hugh Rodham opened a very successful drapery shop and textile printing factory soon after WWII. Hillary was born in 1947.

According to the book, Hillary's Choice, they lived in the finest house on the finest street and always had a brand new Cadillac in the driveway.

When Hillary was born her father was already a successful businessman. When Hillary was three years old the family moved from their city apartment in Chicago to Park Ridge, an upper middle class suburb according to her own Hillary Rodham-Clinton.org website.

Why did she claim that she is from a working class family?

I think working class would include those actually working in the factory.

Hillary has collected and documented scandalous information on her peers, she’s been waiting for this moment to use their dirty laundry as leverage to get what she wants. She was in Iowa, where most of the voters are working class. It's to garner approval (votes). She's a pure politician, so the truth is a VERY flexible thing. She can't run on her leadership experience or management skills. She's the junior Senator from a state she barely met the residency requirements to run in who has never even proposed a successful piece of major legislation. She's never run so much as a Koolaid stand, so she's gotta baffle them with BS to get elected. If she didn't happen to be in a marriage of convenience to Bill, she'd never get elected to assistant dog catcher.
