U got be kidding me yes they are nonsense and yes they should change the rules it wasn't like Amare and Diaw was goin to start a fight I don't see nothin wrong wit goin to help a teammate when is being knocked to the announce table. Amare and Diaw shouldn't have been suspended its unfortunate for Phoenix what happen. I was very disappointed about the situation but im over it now even though Phoenix loss game 5 they showed alot of heart without Amare and Diaw. But still u don't knock a player to the annouce to try to win a game they were goin to lose anyway Robert Horry got what he deserve. And then u have Bruce Bowen kneeing Steve Nash in the groin the refs didn't do anything and the league didn't do anything tell me does that sound like nonsense. Then Bruce Bowen kicking Amare Stoudemire im like wtf ref didn't do anything and the league didn't do anything.

No, it's a great deterent for players because they know that if they go out on the court they will be suspended, so if a melee occurs there's only 10 guys on the court instead of 20 plus! Good rule it was not like that Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw didn't know that they wouldn't get suspended! It's been i place for a while and their excuse was lame. Nash overreacted to a foul, and Suns fans are still whining about it I see!

The series was won by the Spurs but i think that was a win they cannot be proud of. The rule was unfair. Amare and Boris ain't that stupid to start a fight. They were only trying to help Nash that time. Very poor decision by the commisioner that time. Fans of the Suns may look whiners bec. they still brag about it up to now but that was a very costly mistake by the NBA. Suns could had been the champs last season...

it may seem nonsense last year and to those who hate the spurs. but when it was made, it made perfect sense. it was in response to the brawls that broke out before and in particular, the palace brawl incident. its a no nonsense rule that was absolute in terms of its interpretation(as in no leaving the bench during an altercation) and punishment(suspension). its a rule created to preserve the integrity of the league and its fans. it may seem unfair until you find yourself in the stands and the target of a rampaging 250-pound athlete because he mistook you as the one who threw the plastic cup.

i see no reason to have automatic suspensions for anything. why not just review the situation in an objective manner and make decisions on a case by case basis? that incident is still infuriating after all these months. i hate the spurs so much it makes my eyes bleed.
