Lateral thinking is defined as inordinate, original, and imaginative. The opposite is to be tuned to whatever school of thought current market trends are inclining toward. Education indoctrinates us to what views suit and further the causes and interest of the prevailing powers. Lateral thinking, and the term is a little ambiguous, is then whatever and whomever turns the trend and sets new precedents, or inspires new age or modernism....The truth is absolute, trends tend to sway us toward current fads, which are garbled particles of a truth. The abcient scriptures both eastern and western determined wisdom and understanding thousands of years ago. It is a fact that modern society has never grown, enhanced or added to that writ in stone. Modern books by new age thinkers merely reiterate what is given in the scriptures, in jargon and lanuguage that complexifies issues and truths that are beautifully simply if communicated well....end of garbled rant...M
