She is probably trying to keep looking good for you, so you dont stray. Did she wear the "gunk" when u met her? If so, then she probably just likes to wear it to feel good about herself. If you think its a little "heavy" then maybe set her up for a makeover at the mall for christmas,where make-up professionals can tell her what looks best and how to apply her "gunk" correctly. Makeup actually does make people more attractive to others in many cases. It might have an effect on you that you're not aware of. But even more than that, it might have a positive psychological effect on your wife. Many women feel more confident and ready to face their challenges when their hair and makeup is done in a way that they like. I know more than one woman, for example, who does her hair extra nice when she's having a hard day.
So consider the possibility that she's not doing it for you but for herself.

Because she wants to be beautiful for you, and in her eyes it does make her more beautiful. It's when they don't bother any more that you've go to worry !
What do you do to look attractive for her? My guess is : not much !
Try to be a bit more supportive, you might be surprised where it takes you.
As a diplomat or a romanticist you make a good photographer Vienna !!

Cuz she doesn't think she's pretty with out it. You gotta make her see that you'll love her with or without the make-up. Convince her that she's beautiful to you like no other woman in the world. And that no super model could ever take you away from her. That's all make-up is for anyway, to make guys attracted to us women.

We wear makeup so we can feel better about ourselves. Some women need extra-marital validation after long years of marriage. As we get older, we start getting scared of dying so we do whatever it takes to feel younger. Covering our face with junk makes us look better/younger too.

It makes her feel better, more attractive, etc.... She wants to look nice for you. But if you really like her "Natural" then tell her, and maybe she can stay away from the make-up on her days off. I'm not crazy about it myself. But if I'm going somewhere, I where it.

she may feel more confident with it on...like a response to an insecurity. i think it would be sweet of you to tell her in a nice way that you love the way she looks with or without the makeup on. maybe she will feel like she doesnt need to wear it all the time then. good luck!

because she's not happy with what she's see's in the mirror or maybe she doesnt want to be reconized when she's with you . i'm just kidding, ask her and then ask her to not put any on today because you would love to see how beautiful she really is and spend the day making love to the woman you married
