When people get married, they take a vow to be there for each other... FOREVER. And when it starts to fall apart, people get into a state of denial. When you've been married and you divorce, it's almost like... admitting to everyone who came to your wedding that you were wrong. It's hard. Divorce is a very life changing event... they want to love their husbands because its hard living every single day with someone and having to let go and start over.

How do you let go of your soul mate?
Some times marriages fall appart, but it does not mean that the people involved dont love each other.
My husband and i have been seperated for 3 months, we live in differant contries now.
we have a 4 yr old girl and a 8 month old baby. We married at 18, four years ago and our relationship has always been like a whirl wind- fighting and making up all the times!
I am alone with the kids now, and i find every day a struggle., as a working mum( with a baby who likes to cry all night!)
No matter how much i know this split is for the best (for the children to, as they do not have to watch us fight) A massive part of me loves my husband so much it hurts and am desperate to be with him, it hurts that he can live with out me- as i am finding life alone empty and almost without meaning.
I feel lost. I think maybe its because of the children i feel so alone as i have no support here.
Anyway! Back to your question- even though people know they SHOULD let go it is very hard to follow your head with out breaking your heart!

They don't. They have to act that way because they are supposed to in the "normal" world. He could care less. Your relationship ended when you said "I DO". You should have learned the facts of life before you got married:
1. There is no Santa
2. There might be a Bigfoot
3. All men cheat, almost all women cheat
4. Marriage ruins relationships (moving in is the same)
5. Everyone lies (you even lie to yourself)
6. Life is not fair
Good luck and Happy Holidays. Email me
if you want to hear the truth. You can ask me anything.
I don't lie.

Supposedly they originally loved the man if they chose to get married to him. So they still likely love him even though they are having problems. If there is any hope of keeping the marriage together, they should work on it.

after goin through so much together, letting go wont be that easy. that's the person they love, so it's not just a matter of leaving him and finding someone else. that's hard. especially when they have kids. it's not just the relationship that u break off when u let go, but things wont be the same again.. for the husband, for the wife, and for the kids. trying their best to fix things is still the best option

I have no idea.
Maybe because one partner wants to save the marriage for the sake of the kids?

People can be very insecure and that is usually when you have the problems. Marriages can be good but who wants to be with someone who doesn't want them?. They should move on

You're a girl, right? You should know.
Women want to be cherished. It's their nature. Relationships are important to them. They want to be the number one thing in somebody's life.
