A girlfriend isn't a wife, or even a fiance, unless you HAVE asked her to marry you. To be wrong, she would have to be doing something wrong. Now, IF this girlfriend is your wife, or is wearing an engagement ring you've given her, then perhaps it is wrong. Not because you saw her with a guy. It would be wrong IF she is in a committed relationship, meaning married or engaged, and was DATING. But, I'm betting you are acting as though you can simply date, and have that translate into an obligation for her to behave like a faithful wife. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. There is a huge difference between dating and marriage. You asked this question on the area dealing with marriage and divorce. I'm guessing that you somehow want to remain unmarried, but at the same time enjoy the benefits of a committed marital relationship, which is the only relationship that obligates both to being faithful. Life isn't high school, where Susie wears Bill's varsity jacket, or eats lunch with Bill every day and wears his class ring.

If she met him on the road and stopped to say 'hi' or something, I don't think it's wrong. If she actively seeks him out to spend time with him, then it's not a good idea. Depends how serious you two are, etc.

she probably should have told you just to keep the relationship open and honest. but are you a super jealous guy? maybe she was afraid of how you would react. its not an excuse...but that might have been going through her mind. good luck!

Yes. She would have said something to you about it. If she is hiding it from you, then consider it cheating. Don't act like a jerk to her, but calmly ask her why she didn't say she had a new friend. Go from there.

Yes she should tell you if she is hanging out with other men even if they are just friends.

I would think it was wrong. Especially if they are hanging out together. Why wouldn't she tell you? Does she want to hide it?

even if they are just friends she should have told you. if she has nothing to hide then why not tell you? not telling you makes her look shady and I'd be ticked.

your guilt proves it is wrong. If you feel guilty then it is wrong.
