If gun control stops violence then please answer this question for me. Why are people still killed with handguns in Washington DC, Chicago and San Francisco? Those cities have banned handguns yet somehow, those damn criminals just won't obey the law.

To be in a gang, in America at least, is a way of life. They fight for a street like a soldier fights for his country. If you take away the right to own guns, then there would be "gun runnin." And if guns were gone all together, then fights would still break out. violence would seem more deliberate. killings would be forced to get more creative.

I understand the thought of ending violence. but it's human nature. We all think differently, and we have different values. taking away guns won't change anything.

No, but it would stop those people who suddenly made up a plan to shoot somebody, if they couldn`t just go to a shop and buy a gun. It would probably also stop people with mental problems if they `couldn`t just draw a gun from their pockets.
