In Hawai'i we have the "Peter Boy Kema" case, and it involved a young boy, i believe he was at the age of five years old. Anyways the story goes that he was an abused child up until he went missing.
Since 1999 no one has been able to recover his body. More the half the majority of people living in Hawai'i (including myself) believe his father and mother had something to do with it. Its also a very strange case because his little sister did testify in court saying that she did in fact see his body in a box dead. Still to this day it's an unsolved mystery, and neither parent has been prosecuted, due to insufficient evidence.
