I would not have got married so young !!

I would have done more for ME and been more selfish in that respect.

Otherwise I would not change a lot, but of course, life would then have taken a different course and I may not have had the life I have had and the two wonderful children I fathered.

Maram:

Nice to see someone taking the time to read the replies and actually give individual feedback where you feel necessary.

I have enjoyed by children...they are 33 and 29 years old and I have became a grandfather for the first time this year (courtesy of my Son and Daughter-in-law) and my daughter (33) is presenting me with my second grandchild (her first) at the end of January....or when the baby is ready.

Thank You for taking the time to give your thoughts.

Maybe if I changed it I wouldn't learn what I needed even though it is really hard right now and I hate what I have put my kids through but I am a better parent and will be better to any other child that comes into my life because of my past. Im hopeful for the future so no I guess I wouldn't. I just don't want to repeat the past mistakes

I thought of that a lot. I'm 42 and at long last seem to have risen from the shadows of my younger years. If i changed anything i would not have the partner and daughter i love dearly.
It's tempting to say my birth parents ... but their mistakes made me what I am today. And I'm stronger for it.
So no ... I wouldn't change a thing ...

i wouldn't change a thing. not because i've had a trouble-free life, far from it, but because my life experiences have made me the person i am today. i've had an abusive marriage etc, but i've got 3 wonderful children that i wouldn't have had if i hadn't married. of course, there've been times when i've been frightened, desperately unhappy, but they pass & if we learn from them i think we can become a better person. i hope so, anyway! diane.

I would relive my high school years...I'd be more bolder, courageous and outspoken. I wish I was more of a people-person back then too, because I missed out on a lot of genuine opportunities.

im not really understanding so its really ridiculous for me to answer, well if i got it right, i wud change what others dont really like from me, and start doing things which other could appreciate me, coz when people starts loving me and believing me and trusting me, i become more of a better person and feel more motivated. isnt it that we all wish to turn back the time so we may correct our mistake, so do something that will keep you happy and people around you without hurting yourself and people around you.

On one hand many things, but on the other nothing. I was told by a football coach years ago.

"You can't go through life second guessing yourself", I do what I can along the way, enjoy myself, make large and small gaffs and move on.
